Rebirth
This piece appeared before it took form.
It emerged during a period of rupture and silence, not as an image to contemplate but as a direction to follow. What began as a lucid vision became a necessity.
The work was developed intuitively, layer by layer. Each drop marks a process of transformation; each layer of resin records a moment of reflection. The gold leaf functions not as ornament, but as gesture.
The piece does not pursue perfection. It is concerned with honesty and presence.
Positioned between object and experience, it resists a purely decorative reading. It exists as a threshold: material, symbolic, and lived.
Over time, the work revealed its own meaning. Not only as a sculpture, but as a point of transition within the artist’s practice.
The relationship it proposes is not one of ownership, but of coexistence — a shared moment within a larger process of change.

A dark core carved by time and memory.
The golden roots do not imprison it; they protect it,
as if they were guarding an ancient heart that still beats under the surface.
In this relic, the density is not a punishment.
It is the first alchemical stage: the necessary descent into the shadow
so that something true can be born from within it

A white drop suspended in stillness, held just before the fall.
It does not spill, because it has remembered its purpose.
Its whiteness is not naïve purity,
but the clarity that arrives after walking through every layer of darkness.
The luminous wound that crosses it is not a crack:
it is the opening through which light enters
Here, the alchemy is complete.
What was once fracture has become structure.
The golden veins do not decorate the form; they reveal it.
Rubedo is the stage where the inner gold stops hiding.
It is sovereignty after the fall,
the moment in which the Queen no longer asks for permission to shine.

Its golden roots do not confine it; they bind it back to the Source.
Inside, the light vibrates like a solar heart suspended in resin.
This relic is not trying to show something new.
It is here to help you remember.
Æther is the relic of return:
a symbol of the origin with no beginning and no end,
for the soul that no longer needs form in order to exist.
